I was doing my million pages of readings and i came across this picture and for some reason i just find it so indescribably beautiful. and not because it's a "more active adaptation of Giorgione's "Sleeping Venus" or because it "inverts the dynamics of lanscape of it's predecessor" and all that bullshit that i memorize
Just because it makes you rethink all those current preconceived ideals of beauty, you know, gigantic tits and jutting out ribs and whatnot, this is femininity and it was once conventional beauty and i like that. I still think it's beautiful. skin and bones gets boring.
venus of urbino! this painting is really weird lol
